The
Iida Cultural Theater (Iida Bunka Kaikan) and
Puppet Theater (Iida Ningyo Gekijyo) are only
a ten minute walk from the heart of Downtown Iida City and Iida
Train Station, or a ten minute drive from Iida Interchange.
By Car:
From the highway, get off at the Iida Interchange.
Turn left after the toll gate, then drive about 70 meters and
turn right at the first lighted intersection. Continue
along this road for approximately 5km. until you come to Chuo
Dori (parking lot on the left side). Turn left
and go up until you get to Iida Train Station.
Turn right, drive past the first lighted intersection
and turn left at the second lighted intersection. You
will pass a 7-Eleven on the left, go straight through the intersection,
passing the Cosmo fuel station. In about 50 meters (before
the underpass), you will see the Iida Bunka Kaikan on the left.
(please note, these directions differ from those written in
Japanese in the map below, as new streets have been constructed
in recent years)
By Train:
Get off the train at Iida Train Station (Iida Eki).
Turn left alongside the road and follow the above directions
from Iida Train Station. (There are always Taxi waiting at the
train station which can be used for an easy two minute ride
to the Iida Bunka Kaikan)
