A maximum of 25 participants is requested
(depends on situation and the topic of the workshop).

Regular workshop time is 2 to 2.5 hours.
Please contact TOKARA for information on workshop fee,
as well as for longer workshops and
Gasshuku (Two-day to one-week Taiko Retreat).

For certain workshops,
material able to be covered often depends on equipment available.
A wide range can be covered for all levels,
from beginner to advanced,
including:

Odaiko - The Big Drum
Tachiuchi - Upright drum
Nanameuchi - slant style
Yokomenuchi - side style
Sling Okedo
how to tighten and play a shime daiko,
and much more.

If you have a specific request for a workshop, please ask.
Depending on the group, emphasis on what people would like to learn is different,
and it usually works best to collaborate with the hosting group in order to
come up with a program which they feel best fits their needs.
