Wadaiko TOKARA is now accepting applications for the Kenshu Training Course in Japan!
Wadaiko Tokara will be accepting trainees for the 2012 summer season months of July and August.
Tokara Kenshu trainees experience the unique life of a professional touring taiko group in Japan, with focus on hands-on taiko instruction and behind-the-scenes production.

Activities include:
Attending weekly rehearsals and workshops
A few hours per week assisting in general office work
Assisting at Japan Tour performances
Other activities as time and experience allow
Eligibility:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old (there is no upper age limit)
Previous taiko experience is not necessary but strongly recommended
Applicants must hold a current drivers license (international drivers license will be required in Japan)
Working knowledge of Apple computers is helpful
Applicants must submit an application form.
One to two month commitment required. option to add part or whole of the month of June for up to three months (to include the INADANI Taiko Drumming Course)
Cost:
¥210,000 (Two months)
¥160,000 (One month - August only)
